Welcome to Topline Farm, a new boarding facility in beautiful Alexandria Township, New Jersey. Located in rural Hunterdon County, Topline Farm caters to a select group of individuals who want top-quality care for their horse.

Philosophy
While most barns can provide the basics, we strive to care for your
horse in the best manner possible - like you would if you were at the
barn all the time. The emphasis at Topline Farm is on the safety and
well-being of the horse, whether that means the safe four board fencing
in all the paddocks or making sure that he has all the right boots and
blankets on for turnout each and every day.
We emphasize open
and continual communication between you the horse's owner, and us, the
day-to-day caretakers, to make sure that your horse's needs are met and
your expectations of care are surpassed. Boarding and caring for the
horse is our focus - not showing, or hourly lessons - so we can make
sure that all the horses in our care are handled carefully and safely
each and every day. We also limit the number of boarders we take in, so
that high standards of indivdualized care for each horse can be maintained.

Staff
Topline Farm is managed on a day-to-day
basis by Katie Wigness. Her husband, Kris, and her father, Ron, are major contributors to
the farm's overall maintenance and caretaking as well.
Katie
has over thirty years' experience with horses, and has several horses of
her own that live at the farm. Katie has concentrated her riding over
the years on foxhunting and show jumpers, and more recently dressage. She previously worked for the Essex Hunt
Club, exercising staff hunt horses, as well as for various hunt
members, exercising their hunters. At college, Katie rode and competed
on the intercollegiate team during all four years. After graduate
school, Katie competed on the A circuit, showing in the jumpers
at major shows up and down the east coast for several years with her
steeplechaser-turned-foxhunter-turned-show jumper! She now enjoys both
trail riding and dressage with her semi-retired jumpers.
Katie's
goal at Topline Farm is to care for your horse in the same way that she
cares for her horses every day. Having boarded her horses at many barns
over the years, she can relate to the worries of owners who want to
make sure that their horse has the right blanket at night, gets brought
in when the weather turns nasty, and is looked at every day with a
keen horsman's eye to make sure that his overall health is exactly
right.
